COVID-19 CONSIDERATIONS:    Your good health is extremely important to us and we will take every effort necessary to ensure your personal protection from the coronavirus.   We ask that you do the same out of respect for your fellow artists and travelers.

See our FAQ's for the latest state and local policies.

Proof of a recent Covid-19/Coronavirus vaccination must be submitted with your deposit for each individual attending the workshop.   We reserve the right to ask for proof of a negative Covid test prior to your boarding the vessel should conditions change and/or warrant it.

ITINERARY:   Arrive in Valdez on Sunday June 20.   We will depart at 5 pm (earlier if everyone is there), have dinner and spend the night in a scenic bay on the Sound.  For the next 5 days we will cruise to various bays and inlets to explore and paint the beauty of the Sound.  Expect to return to Valdez either Friday evening June 25th or, if it is agreeable to everyone, on Saturday morning June 26, 2021.   Our return schedule is flexible and depends upon the majority's wishes.

We are proud to offer a 5-day private artists' cruise in Prince William Sound aboard our 52-foot vessel, M/V NULIAQ with renowned classical watercolor art instructor Vladimir Zhikhartsev.   Daily Classes will include demonstrations followed by individual help.   There will also be time for exploring and fishing depending upon the desires of the group.

Space is limited to 5 individuals per trip.   We will paint both on and off the boat as weather permits.  Weather and travel times will determine our painting time and locations.   Our schedule will be flexible and subject to change depending upon weather and the majority's wishes.   Reservations will be taken on a first come, first served basis.

If you would like to be placed on our waiting list in the event of an opening or for a possible second workshop in July, please contact us.

ROOM & BOARD:   Two private staterooms are available (1 w/double and single bunk and 1 w/Queen bed).  Both have full baths.   The pilot house table also makes into a private enclosed Queen-sized bed.   Artists should plan to share a stateroom and/or bed.   You might want to team up with a friend who would like to make the trip with you.   We provide all bedding and all meals, which we try to keep light, nutritious and healthy (lots of seafood).  We do provide homemade snacks and deserts, but don't provide junk food or hard liquor.

COST:    Price for the 5-day trip is $2,325. per person based on double occupancy.   A deposit of $1,000 per person due May 20, 2021 will reserve your space.   Balance is due upon boarding the boat.  At this time we are not equipped to take credit card payments.   There will be a 10% cancellation fee up to June 1, 2021.   After that, no refunds unless we fill your spot.

COMMUNICATIONS:  Cell service throughout the Sound is spotty.  In an emergency we can travel to where a signal is available if necessary.  In the bays where we anchor at night we typically do not have cell service due to the high surrounding terrain.  We have plenty of outlets for charging your electronics.
